2005 AP Coach of the Year
[edit]Tubby Smith was not the 2005 AP National Coach of the Year. Bruce Weber was. Here is a link to a period newspaper proving this. In fact, Smith was not among the vote leaders for the award. Bruce Weber received 54 of 72 votes, Mike Krzyzewski had 6 and Al Skinner and Lorenzo Romar had 4 a piece. Where did you get this information? Smith was the SEC Coach of the Year - was he the AP SEC Coach of the Year perhaps? Rikster2 (talk) 18:40, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Okay my bad. Under Wikipedia's AP College Basketball Coach of the Year page, it had Tubby Smith listed as the 2005 winner. I guess someone entered that information incorrectly. I was simply going off of that page. Thanks for noticing my mistake. Kentuckyfan16 (talk) 20:44, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Opening paragraphs
[edit]Please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section. Most important is neutrality and so emphasizing awards is not to be in the first sentence (see MOS:INTRO). Walter Görlitz (talk) 08:01, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
Okay thanks for the tip. I am a new Wikipedia editor and I am still trying to get a feel for things. I went back and tried to correct my mistake. Please let me know if this solved the problem, or if I still need to make changes. Kentuckyfan16 (talk) 15:14, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 6
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball head coaches, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page NCAA Basketball Tournament (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
