It should provide a bird's eye view of what's found in the article (i.e., it should not be too detailed, only provide the conclusions/gists). An effective way of doing this is to have each major section of the article represented in the opening paragraph with a single sentence summary.
Dates should be presented in the "century" form (i.e., 6th century BCE). Get specific in the article.
Since the main point of interest of a reader of this article is the "origin" of the Armenians, only mention the earliest date of a certain topic (i.e, don't start enumerating dates).
Each sub-section of this section should be about the same context – context can be a specific work or an author.
Order chronologically.
Do not let the section get bloated with too many references – only show the ones that are relevant to the emergence of the Armenian people.
Hecataeus and Herodotus are there because they were either alive before the Behistun Inscription where Armenia was first attested, or could have been in direct contact with someone who was.
Strabo is there because he is perhaps the only ancient historian who makes a reference to events that occurred prior to the Behistun Inscription where Armenia was first attested.
The last section is reserved for Urartu, which is there to provide an opportunity for curious readers to get deeper into the past and read about a country that is not called "Armenia" but is generally accepted as the geopolitical predecessor of or synonymous with Armenia (i.e., the Behistun Inscription, the first attestation itself considers them synonymous).

Why not "History"? Because "history" would be the "history of ‘origin of the Armenians’," (i.e., the topic itself), as per Wikipedia tradition. "Historiography" is better because it holds the meaning of "the way the history of the origin of Armenians has been written by historians."
Each heading of this section is the name of the entity (country, people, region, etc.) that the Armenian people are alleged to originate at least partly from.
