FYI conflict of interest guideline
[edit]If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Kenneth Cobonpue, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
- participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
- linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam); and,
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. For more details about what, exactly, constitutes a conflict of interest, please see our conflict of interest guidelines. Thank you.

Help in taking away tags
[edit]really need help with my script. if anyone can edit my script so that i may remove the tags on the Kenneth Cobonpue page. its sad as im in no way in conflict in interest with my article. I made the mistake of thinking that Kenneth Cobonpue is the username i should use so that it would become the title of the article. i made this article specifically for public knowledge and encyclopedic use only. Thank you.

- Hi there. I assume by 'my script' you mean the article, Kenneth Cobonpue? I'm sorry that you are unhappy with those tags, but they really are only there for information, and they seem valid. The article does need some work, and those tags serve to inform our other editors of what needs doing. Hopefully someone will have the time to fix it up soon.
- Thanks for your understanding regarding the policies, and for sorting out your user page, etc. If you haven't already, you should probably read WP:AUTO - which explains the problems faced in editing an article about yourself - and the very strong recommendation that you don't make edits to the article directly. If there is anything specific that you want changing in the article, please feel free to ask me, or another user, to change it for you.
- If I can possibly find the time, I will work to improve the article - but I do have a long backlog of things to do at the moment.
- I hope that you will contribute to other articles on Wikipedia, and help us out.
- For more help, you can either;
- Leave a message on my own talk page;
OR
- Use a {{helpme}} - please create a new section at the end of your own talk page, put {{helpme}}, and ask your question - remember to 'sign' your name by putting ~~~~ at the end;
OR

Article tags
[edit]Please do not remove valid article tags until the issues have been addressed. The article remains an autobiography and requires additional oversight by uninvolved editors, before the conflict of interest tag is removed. Please let me know if you need any help or have any questions about editing. --Leivick (talk) 02:54, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Advice
[edit]Hi, I've removed the COI tags. I think that you are not Kenneth Cobonpue since you signed a comment on the talk page with a different name. You are obviously new around here but creating an article with the same name as your username stands out as something to look into and check. I've added a source to Kenneth Cobonpue as an example of something from which you could expand the article.
Before you do that could you visit this page: [1] where you can request for your username to be changed to anything you like. This will stop any problems in the future. If you have any questions please message me on my talk page. Thanks Smartse (talk) 00:07, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

Further citations
[edit]Hi again, the article needs extra citations for each award ideally from a reliable source. If each one is provided with a citation then the tag can be removed. Smartse (talk) 10:54, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Kenneth Cobonpue, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be a clear copyright infringement. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
- It is a rejected submission at Wikipedia:Articles for creation, and it has not been edited in over a year. (See section G13 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. j⚛e deckertalk 21:36, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
