Fr. Ken,
Actually, I am a member of the CEC, I just try very hard to accomplish the wikipedia NPOV in my edits. Hald (talk) 21:46, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Fr Tanner,
I read your comment on my talk page. You are correct. I will quit posting on the CEC article--at least until I am prepared to do it without the cloak of anonymity. It is one thing to know relevant information, along with scores of others, on Abp Woodall's disqualifying actions and moral/personal deficiencies. It is another to post it in anonymity.
While I do feel that Doug Woodall's lifestyle and actions are very much a relevant feature to the article, I will cease. The rapid decline of the number of CEC military chaplains is partial evidence of that. It is a sad fact that all of the canons or archdeacons that Woodall chose resigned from the CEC in favor of another church. I believe hat is a testament to his failure in a leadership postition. Woodall's attempt to high-jack all of the CEC's military chaplains to barter his way into the ACNA as an ecclesiastical endorser is very disturbing. Thank God that the ACNA has refused his ill-advised overture and will not receive him as a bishop, and possibly not as anything other than a lay person.
You are correct anonymity opens one up to the temptation to post things that one would normally not post for attribution. Obviously, I succumbed to that temptation in the late hours following a very long day. Thank you for your objectivity and honor.
