Hi Ken, Welcome to Wikipedia. I'm really pleased that you've decided to start editing and I'm certain that you'll be able to make a valuable contribution. A word of caution, however, about deleting and/or editing text that is supported by references: some Wikipedians feel particularly strongly about this (it can be seen as an affront to delete referenced material without sufficient explanation) and so I'd urge you to both explain the reasons for such contributions (on the associated talk pages) and provide suitable references yourself where necessary (perhaps even giving references to your own work?).
