I don't know HOW people get on editing here. Haha. It's SO confusing and there is A LOT to read and remember. Not great for people like me who's brains don't compute this stuff very well. I've unintentionally upset people by editing things that I KNOW were correct, but I didn't add references? However I can't see that all edits have references so I didn't know it was compulsory. As I say, I didn't mean to annoy anybody and I don't think I will edit anymore as people are very harsh here. Cheers for the welcome message though. X KellanRose7 (talk) 03:31, 12 May 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not attack other editors, as you did at Stranger Things. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. — YoungForever(talk) 23:36, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Stranger Things, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — YoungForever(talk) 23:40, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Brassic (series 2). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. RandomWookiee (talk) 22:06, 11 May 2020 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Brassic (TV series), you may be blocked from editing. Kirbanzo (userpage - talk - contribs) 02:26, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
I have just finished watching the entire series of Brassic and the information I updated IS correct. The actor playing Cardi has posted his characters full name on his social media, and "Carol" does not own the pub. Sorry if you think this is wrong but believe me I always check my details before I edit. Many thanks KellanRose7 (talk) 02:56, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
- KellanRose, in case you haven't read through the messages here pointing to Wikipedia's policies regarding content and venerability, please do so now. You cannot add material to articles based on your own interpretation, knowledge, or things you've heard or read elsewhere, unless you include reliable sources to back up the information. You're edging very close to a block here, so it's important that you take on board what others editors are trying to explain to you.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 03:02, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
But it's not hearsay? I genuinely don't get what the issue is. The first one I accept as I took away some spoilers, but there are spoilers everywhere here so I apologise for that. However as I just said, the actor playing Cardi has confirmed that full character name and the part of Carol isn't the Landlady. I'm just trying to help which is why this site is public, no? I just don't understand why I'm being told off for adding the correct info. Sorry x KellanRose7 (talk) 03:06, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
- The site is public to allow people to edit, but the edits must follow our policies and guidelines. If everyone was able to add whatever they wanted based on their own understanding of the topic and material Wikipedia would be overwhelmed with false and conflicting information. Again, please read this page.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 03:09, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Again, I'm NOT just adding whatever I want. It was all FACTual. That's why I put it there. Now people reading the characters descriptions will get confused as to who Carol is, coz she is Mo's neighbour, not the landlady. Lol. Sorry again anyway, just adding facts but I just shan't bother in future. Cheers KellanRose7 (talk) 03:12, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
- The "facts" need to be verifiable by readers to be included, which is accomplished by including a reliable source. You don't appear willing to listen to the advice provided or review the guideline and policy links others have left for you here, so it's a waste of my time to try to explain further.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 03:15, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
They're VERY confusing. Their aren't links to proof of everything written on all the pages so I didn't realise I needed to. Why do some have to and some don't? So, if I added the link to the Tweet of Tom, with the info of his full name, it'd be allowed?? KellanRose7 (talk) 03:18, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
- Twitter, for the most part, is not a reliable source. This is outlined at the reliable sources content guideline I've repeatedly asked you to read.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 03:22, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
And I thought the creators of the page would have seen the entire series and so would know who Carol is, I don't know how to add reference to her actual role in the series. I'm not tech savvy, I don't do much online, I just wanted to be helpful. KellanRose7 (talk) 03:20, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Also, they were wearing shirts with his surname on them in the episode of his stag night. Anyways, I'll try get more up to date on how to do all this stuff before I correct anymore mistakes. If I do. Isn't worth the hassle it's been though. Haha. Have a good one KellanRose7 (talk) 03:25, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
- New editors are encouraged to be bold and try out editing. It's important, though, that if concerns are raised regarding the edits you try to understand why they're being reverted/disputed by reading through the information that is provided to you. Hopefully you'll catch on and will be able to make the changes you would like. Note that these dispute resolution suggestions are also very helpful if you find yourself in a disagreement regarding content.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 03:31, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Oh I don't want to dispute or argue with anyone. As I say I was GENUINELY just trying to be helpful as the info was right, I don't know how to add sources, etc. I'm just not very good with all this stuff. I just won't edit anything anymore as I didn't want to upset anyone. Just wanted to help. Cheers KellanRose7 (talk) 03:35, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Oh! Maybe one of U guys could look up what I tried to contribute and add it in the "proper" way? Don't have to, of course. I found Ashleys full name in an article online featuring Heffernan, explained the Cardi and Carol stuff, and I added Sugar as she's in 8 of the 12 episodes and it's a very male strong cast so figured another prominent female would be nice to have there. Anyways, cheers for trying to help me understand. Lol KellanRose7 (talk) 03:49, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
- You may find Help:Referencing for beginners helpful as it breaks down step by step how to add a reference. There are very helpful people at the Teahouse who can also assist you in adding the sources.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 18:30, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Thanks! I might try again when I'm over my lashings from last night haha KellanRose7 (talk) 20:02, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
A new page for someone??
[edit]Hey all. I wonderednif anyone would be up for adding a new Wiki page for an actress I follow? Her name is Menik Gooneratne, an Aussie actress who I reckon deserves some love! Haha. I have NO IDEA how to make one so if anyone can that'd be AWESOME. I'm happy to help in any way I'm able of course, I just don't know how much that would be! Lol Many cheers! KellanRose7 (talk) 03:54, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
- The best way to start your first article(s) is via Articles for Creation. Please be aware of the notability criteria for inclusion before starting (this section deals specifically with the notability requirements for entertainers).-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 18:32, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the reply. So, I'm too scared to try and do it all myself now as I'm BOUND to do something wrong and I don't like getting told off. Hahaha. I did look at the links, thank you. She does fit the criteria as far as I can tell. YAY. She has acted in at least 17 productions (TV, Movies), and according to her IMDb, her movies have grossed over 500 million dollars worldwide. She was a main cast member in Neighbours, that alone has garnered her a lovely little fanbase / cult following, as us Neighbs geeks take them very seriously lol. She has also been credited in the Writer, Producer, Director and Script Departments. Her biggest theatrical releases I think have been 2016's "Lion" and "Mortal Engines". She was also in Underbelly whichbhas a massive fan base.
Does that qualify? Cheers for all the helpful links. KellanRose7 (talk) 20:00, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
- I would give it a shot via Articles for Creation when you feel up to it. It will help you create a draft outside of main article space that you can work on. If it's approved, one of the volunteers will move it to main article space for you. Just make sure you're able to back up her notability with reliable sources such as newspaper articles and features providing in-depth coverage (as opposed to passing mentions).-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:08, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
Okies. Making me nervous thinking about it just now hahahaha. But she does deserve her page for sure. I will have a look tomorrow, maybe. Lol. Cheers again. KellanRose7 (talk) 20:17, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
