Why was Christopher DeJoseph deleted?
[edit]He is a writer for WWE and has appeared on television over 4 times. Why would he be deleted? Isn't wikipedia supposed to be an overall encyclopedia? Why not include a currently frequenting character on WWE television? DaHumorist |
Christoper DeJoseph must be re added to wikipedia immediately, has appeared several times as "Big Dick Johnson" on WWE Programming including November 6th edition of Raw, for DX. He must me accounted for.
Talk 02:23, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
I'll second this. I came to Wikipedia looking for who this was after seeing him several times only to find the deletion. He is at this point a recurring character in addition to being a member of the WWE creative team. Paladin677 07:15, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
My RfA
[edit]Hey Teke,
I just wanted to thank you for your support in my recent request for adminship, which passed unanimously with a final tally of 38/0/0. I appreciate your trust, and will do my best to uphold it. Don't hesitate to let me know if you ever need anything.
And, as a note, one thing about tis username (which I have had for a while elsewhere on the Internet) is that I've seen people accidentaly use just about every permutation of its three lettters. Don't know whether you ever had that experience as TKE, but just thought I'd share a little anecdote while I'm here. :) — TKD::Talk 05:40, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
You speedied this article as promotional. I remember the article, it was about the camera and seemed reasonably balanced, or atleast far from 'blatent'. It may have been suitable for deletion, but I don't know about speedying it. When I bought my camera I went there and found usefull information, so it was not entirely unencyclopedic. For a James K. Polk fan

Thanks for advice ...
[edit]Teke,
I appreciate your review of my draft article about the Big-8 Management Board. I'm not sure that I know how to get away from the FAQ/"All About Us" tone of the piece. I'm asking among my acquaintances to see whether there is a third-party who would want to revise it. As far as I can tell, I'm pretty definitely disqualified under the Conflict of Interest rule from submitting the article myself.
There are already articles on Usenet and the Big-8 in Wikipedia:
Big-8 (Usenet) has an external link to the Big-8 Management Board. Maybe that's all that is needed or wanted.

Dovico - article deleted ...
[edit]Can you please explain why the article on dovico was deleted? The article has relevance as many whitepapers, awards etc. have been written about this company. I was adding them as a simple reference only. As I understand the fact that they are a company, does not warrant exclusion from wikipedia.
This will be linked from this article: Comparison_of_time_tracking_software

Ben Harrison
[edit]The only problem is that he was never referred to as Benjamin Harrison VI, and he also had an uncle named Benjamin Harrison VI who was marginally notable. T Rex | talk 02:22, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Red labor
[edit]I found this message on my talk page :
Hi there. I deleted an article you created, Red labor, as failing our criteria for speedy deletion, specifically A7 as lack of notability and G11 as promotional for a small group. Please do not recreate the article, but continue to edit! Teke(talk) 03:27, 23 November 2006 (UTC)"
and I object to you making this a speedy delete instead of normal a AfD.
You cited G11 "Blatant advertising"
Pages which exclusively promote a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Note that simply having a company, product, group or service as its subject does not qualify an article for this criterion: an article that is blatant advertising should have inappropriate content as well. If a page has previously gone through deletion process and was not deleted, it should not be speedily deleted under this criterion.
but I don't believe that the article had "inappropriate content" and request that it be recreated so it can go through an AfD review.

Jones Lang LaSalle
[edit]Hi! You deleted this article [1], as I understand it for "blatant advertising" (G11). I recovered it via google and am surprised because I really don't see what is so bad about it. It is just describing one of the major real estate companies in the world. I c&p it here so maybe you can reconsider. --Kricket 16:24, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
PS: looked at it again and did a few minor changes, there was bad style in it (posted it under "alternative?" on my talk page. But just deleting an article like this is really overdoing it.
- Hello Teke! As you didn't answer for a week I just put it back in (with the changes you can see on my talk page). Talk to me if you have any comments. --Kricket 13:48, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
Red Labor on deletion review
