Welcome

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I appreciate your taking an interest in G. Edward Griffin. Your edit summary said, "Changed Year to 1972 (was 1971). Cited link shows four items and all with 1972". Would you mind letting me know here (on your talk page) what link you found with four 1972 entries relating to the film Capitalist Conspiracy? I was unable to determine what you intended. Thanks for your help! (If I don't hear back from you, the year change might get reverted back to 1971—that's what normally happens to unsourced statements.) I hope you continue enjoying WP! (You seem to have had enough time to read the policies so I won't refer you to any particular welcome pages. Just accept my thanks for contributing.) JJB 19:00, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Reply to Welcome (G. Edward Griffin - Edited Year from 1971 to 1972)

[edit]

I hope this works. This is my reply to the Welcome message on my Talk Page regarding my recent change in the Filmography section for the G. Edward Griffin page. At the end of the line where the date used to be 1971 (I changed to 1972) is an external link that I followed to here:

Web page title: The Capitalist conspiracy. [WorldCat.org]

Web page URL: http://worldcat.org/oclc/5558340

Contained on that page are some of the following:

The Capitalist conspiracy.

by G Edward Griffin; American Media (Firm)

Type: Visual Material; English

OCLC: 5558340

Related Subjects: Capitalists and financiers.

Citations: Cite this Item

Clicking on the Cite this Item gave me a popup window as follows:

Popup title: Find in a Library: The Capitalist conspiracy.

Popup URL: http://worldcat.org/oclc/5558340?page=citation&client=worldcat.org-detailed_record

Contained on that popup were 5 separate references to years that were all 1972.

And that was the basis for my change of the year from 1971 to 1972. Kcjenner (talk) 01:10, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Note to JJB: I may have had time to read the policies, but I seem to get lost sometimes when looking for something. I have read many things here about Wikipedia, but if you could point me to something that would help a new person like myself in respects to this matter (or others), I'd appreciate it.
