Hello, I am new to wikipedia. I believe I need to create a talk page for communication with Karuna8? --Kbjeff (talk) 20:58, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Edits to Kettlebell
[edit]Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Kettlebell. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. --Karuna8 (talk) 15:08, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Adding links to websites you are affiliated with is against wikipedia policy. You have put in a proper request for it's consideration, now let it be considered and stop repeatedly posting the site. --Karuna8 (talk) 15:09, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
Thank you Karun8. I just wanted some dialog here. I thought that Wikipedia was open for all and did not understand that there are people who actually have the power to pass judgement on what goes and stays. When do you expect to make a decision on this?
I do think this link is vital to the understanding of kettlebells as the site works hard to eradicate all the weirdness, factions, guru worship, and commercialism found at most kettlebell sites.
On a separate note, the actual Wikipedia entry for "kettlebell" could use a lot of work. I think we could come up with a much better description and set of images. I have started working on an update. What is the official Wikipedia procedure for making those kind of edits? Do I need to somehow explain it to you first? --Kbjeff (talk) 00:07, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
