Mirrors

[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article The Moffs (band) ‎. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Hello Kuru. Thanks for addressing some of the issues with The Moffs (band) wikipage. My wikipedia editing/creation skills are so rudimentary that it took me a while to work how to communicate with you and to understand what the 'mirroring' (wikipages as references) was you identified. There appears to be an offending paragraph that contained the mirroring. I have removed these references and think the paragraph as a whole might now comply. But I'd be grateful if you could confirm that this was the main issue. I have reinstated an edited version of the paragraph in the 'Final Phase 1987-1989' and hope it complies. One of the difficulties with the references in this article is that the sources are from the 1980s, and as such are difficult to find online and to reference appropriately. I would appreciate any further advice on how to improve this article. Thank you, Kazast3a. Kazast3a (talk) 03:01, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
