The issue with your contribution is that it is a copyright violation from http://www.avid.org/dl/about/brochure_whatisavid.pdf and http://www.avid.org/avid-college-readiness-system.ashx While it may have been in good faith, Wikipedia cannot accept contributions that are copyright violations. I realize that you may not have been aware of this policy, however, I have still had to remove your contributions to that article because of copyright issues. Now, that does not mean that I disagree with your assessment that it needs further work, and I would welcome you to do it, if what you add is in your own words and properly cited. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines.
