Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:BestX Ltd
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:BestX Ltd, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — fortunavelut luna 15:11, 17 August 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I created a page and it has been immediately deleted, but I don't really understand why as I thought I had followed the guidelines and included everything required. Please could you advise? Thanks. Kateprice (talk) 15:20, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hi. I'm an administrator on Wikipedia. Maybe I can help. There are two main problems that new articles need to overcome: establishing notability and avoiding advertising. Notability is established by adding inline citations to reliable sources. As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia is a built from what other sources say. Once we've got the sources, we neutrally summarize what they say. This is the reason why your article was deleted. The language used was promotional, like a press release. Statements like "the product provides a unique set of analytics" sounds like advertising copy. Wikipedia is not a free webhost for companies to advertise their services. These kinds of articles are routinely deleted. If you wish to recover the article, you can request the deleting administrator, RickinBaltimore, email it to you by leaving a message on his talk page. If you haven't already, you may wish to look at our guide to writing articles, which should help avoid having your submissions be summarily deleted. I hope that this helps explain some of Wikipedia's bureaucracy; if you still have questions you might consider posting to the teahouse, a forum for new users, where you can get more input than a single responding volunteer.
