Welcome
[edit]Hello, Katekiger, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. [edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Peter Joseph Shields. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 15:12, 12 June 2011 (UTC) By the way, if you are unable to provide references according to our instructions at WP:RS, the article may be deleted. Please follow all the blue links on these messages - they will take you to very important aspects of Wikipedia core policy for creating articles. Thanks. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 15:16, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
All references are cited at the end of the article. I have an advanced degree in writing and English and have tried to conform to your style. I have tried to resolve the issues. If you do not let a well published author like myself, who won the Katherine Anne Porter prize for fiction and graduated from the University of Washington's honors creative writing program write on Wiki, I think you should reconsider your own issues, particularly with voice and tone. Wiki is for the people and does not need to be boring. It is a people's history and information system as I understand it. Katekiger (talk) 22:14, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- I'm sure your article is a valuable contribution to the encyclopedia. However, If you don't like the tone of our messages, you may wish to complain to the department who created the template message I used. FWIW, I'm also a retired professor of linguistics, English, and creative writing, and a published author, and Wikipedia doesn't make exceptions for the 60 articles I created here either. If you wish, I can also point out all the typos and grammatical errors in your article. Please now read all the linked instructions for complying with Wikipedia policy, most especially for referenced sources at WP:RS and WP:CITE, and if you need any help please don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 05:21, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
