Welcome!

Hello, Kate P Stuart, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as CheFEM, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard. Thank you.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Wizard191 (talk) 16:10, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated CheFEM, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CheFEM. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Wizard191 (talk) 16:10, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:13, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CheFEM is ineligible for undeletion

[edit]

Greetings! I have declined your request to undelete the article CheFEM. As I noted there, "The article was deleted via discussion (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/CheFEM). As such, any request to undelete the article should start with the closing administrator, Cirt (talk · contribs), and if necessary proceed to Deletion review."

I note that Cirt has offered to restore the article to your userspace. There, you can work at improving the article—adding additional sources and/or refining the text to make it clearer how the subject is notable. This is, in my opinion, the best course of action. I suggest replying to Cirt and accepting that offer. However, if you really feel that the deletion discussion was closed improperly, then you can follow the instructions for deletion review. —C.Fred (talk) 06:28, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Fracture mechanics do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Wizard191 (talk) 17:21, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
