Request reason:
Caught by a colocation web host block but this host or IP is not a web host. My IP address is 168.215.92.62. It is an IP address shared by our entire office, but it's not a web host. KateJenkins (talk) 20:19, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Request no longer needed. Editing in a different location with a different IP should allow you to edit. 331dot (talk) 20:43, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
I don't see a block on that IP address. It could be your internal network address and not the one that actually connects to the internet. What is the exact message that comes up when you attempt to edit? 331dot (talk) 20:26, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
The exact message is: Editing from 104.129.192.0/20 has been blocked (disabled) by ST47 for the following reason(s): The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be a web host provider or colocation provider. To prevent abuse, web hosts and colocation providers may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.
Although WhatIsMyIP.com shows my real IP address as being: 168.215.92.62.
- That IP range is blocked as a Zscaler webhost. Is this something that can be turned off? 331dot (talk) 20:37, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for identifying that. I'm not empowered to disable it so I will try from a different location at a different time. Thank you for your help.
