The tasks that faced the new state in consequence of the new immigration policy of the new movement included the following: to enable the newcomers to master the language and share in the other elements of social consensus existing in the settled community; and to transform the social institutions and occupational distribution of the new immigrants so they might become self supporting and help the state become economically self sustaining. The problem with this was primarily one of defining a national purpose, but of realizing it in actually. Israeli's declaration of Independence in 1948 was an immediate expression of the fundamental Zionist idea: It gave effect to a plan advocated by organized Zionists since the 1880s for solving the Jewish problem. Zionism had an impact unusual among nationalist movements. It must rather be compared to social revolutionary and radical reform movement. The First Aliyah from 1881 to 1903, is said to have brought pioneers who first established Jewish plantation colonies. From 1881 to 1903, Palestine Jewry is estimated to have increased from about 22,000 or 24,000 to about 47,000 to 50,000 mainly because of immigration in 1881-1884 and 1890-1891. The Jewish people lived as a minority in numerous countries throughout the world, among many different ruling nations and under different regimes. Zionism actually had an impact unusual among nationalist movements. It must rather be compared t social revolutionary and radical reform movements.

I am going to add more information. There are basically just facts right now about the First ALiyah. I am going to add some of the pros and cons of it and how it might've effected people's lifestyles.
