Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, KartikiDS, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits to the page Vasai have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and has been removed. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or in other media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. Additionally, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

Speedy deletion nomination of Creative Digital Brain

[edit]

Hello KartikiDS,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Creative Digital Brain for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

COI

[edit]

You have an obvious conflict of interest and you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for an organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:KartikiDS. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=KartikiDS|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

Also read the following regarding writing an article

  • you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • The notability guidelines for organisations and companies have been updated. The primary criteria has five components that must be evaluated separately and independently to determine if it is met:
  1. significant coverage in
  2. independent,
  3. multiple,
  4. reliable,
  5. secondary sources.
Note that an individual source must meet all four criteria to be counted towards notability.
  • you must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • you must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:58, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Why my page or wiki content is not getting approved or accepted for "Classic Marble Company"? KartikiDS (talk) 10:59, 6 August 2018 (UTC) Please help me with...[reply]

You are not allowed to remove the speedy deletion tag on the article. It will be restored and the deletion process will proceed.
An article is deleted when it fails to meet Wikipedia's standards. In this case, an earlier version of the article was deleted after a deletion discussion. Once that happens, you cannot simply recreate the article. There must be some assertion that new developments have occurred that should cause the earlier discussion to be reconsidered. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 11:52, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Classic Marble Company.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 11:48, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A request for clarification of a message

I notice that at Talk:Classic Marble Company you posted a message in which you used the word "we" a number of times. Who are you referring to as "we" in this context? Is it the company fr whom you are editing? The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 14:24, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently editing for the purpose of promotion or advertising, repeated copyright infringements, and editing contrary to the guidelines on conflict of interest and probably also the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use regarding paid editing. You have shown no signs of taking any notice of messages informing you of the problems. Also, this account has been continuing the same editing previously carried out by other accounts acting on behalf of the same company, and at least one of those accounts had already been informed that this kind of editing would lead to being blocked.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.
