Hi, Karozoa, and welcome to Wikipedia!

On behalf of the Wikipedia community, I would like to thank you for your contributions. You're already off to great start. I see a future for you among the throngs of Wikipediholics! If you need assistance with titling new articles, please see the naming conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the manual of style. For general questions go to Wikipedia:Help or the FAQ. If we've been so inattentive as to not have the answer in any of those places, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Finally, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. If you have any more questions after that, feel free to ask me directly on my user talk page.

Thanks for uploading Image:Halfjugwine.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. DGX 00:05, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion

[edit]

Thank you for your edits to Wikipedia as they have helped a lot. Concerning this particular edit, you said that the image was outdated. Could you possibly then make a new one to replace it? J.J.Sagnella 14:43, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. Karozoa 09:13, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Meecrob.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Meecrob.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Thank you. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to L. Ron Hubbard, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. September 2009

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits, such as those you made to Marvel Comics, are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop. Consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. —David Levy 06:37, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, a new user attempting to revert your vandalism accidentally restored it, leading me to mistake his/her actions for further vandalism and issue a warning that may have driven him/her away from the project. I hope that you're happy with yourself. —David Levy 06:54, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not the one that mistakingly warned a new user. So I don't see why you're yelling at me about something you did. ;) Karozoa (talk) 07:06, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not. That was my error. I'm bringing to your attention one of the possible ramifications of committing vandalism — that confusion may arise as multiple users attempt to address the situation. It's no laughing matter, and Wikipedia is not your playground. —David Levy 07:21, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
