[edit]Aksai Chin
[edit]Namaste! I saw you edited Ladakh recently. Yesterday I created a page called List of locations in Aksai Chin, and I want to include India-related linguistic information and perspectives in the page. I speak Mandarin Chinese but don't speak any of the local languages in Aksai Chin. Is there any kind of database of geographical locations in India that would include official Indian names (Hindi, Urdu, etc) for minor locations in Aksai Chin? I want to include more Chinese characters/Indian/Pakistan/Tibet/Uyghur/etc linguistic information in this list page in parentheses next to the names of locations. Our coverage of the List of rocks on Mars is more detailed than our pages on Aksai Chin, and I think that's bad. Do you know any users who would be interested in this topic? See also our discussions on Talk:List of locations in Aksai Chin. Thanks for any help.Geographyinitiative (talk) 15:18, 26 December 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Vif12vf. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Karnataka Janata Paksha, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 13:38, 31 December 2019 (UTC)
Adding Earth to maps
[edit]Please stop adding Earth to the list of maps. I can't find it at the moment, but there is a discussion somewhere as to whether we even need to add Asia in addition to India, so adding Earth is going even further - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 16:43, 18 January 2020 (UTC)
Ok done...but I feel it’s better if we add Asia to all major Cities/Capitals Karnatakapolatics (talk) 16:45, 18 January 2020 (UTC)
- I don't have a strong opinion about that, but you could be wasting your time if it is decided that Asia is unneeded - Best wishes - Arjayay (talk)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Kargil does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Disambiguation link notification for January 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amarnath (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Recent edit to Rudresh Gowda
[edit]Hello. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person (Rudresh Gowda), but that you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 19:18, 1 March 2020 (UTC)

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Lefcentreright}}

[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at 2020 coronavirus pandemic in India. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. Discretionary sanctions alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

- Nkon21, the user has been repeatedly warned about this but refuses to acknowledge it, instead simply choosing to delete such helpful warnings and remarks from their Talk page. I myself warned the user about this just recently. SerChevalerie (talk) 17:15, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Bangalore, you may be blocked from editing. When you revert, provide an edit summary. You have not given a reason why your preferred version is a better fit for the article. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 16:39, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:48, 19 July 2020 (UTC)- Very simply, you're not welcome to edit at Wikipedia, because your efforts, specifically looking at changes you made to Prajakta Koli, were stolen from other sources,
and the net result of your edits smell like undisclosed paid editing, which has been a problem at many articles, but also at the article on Prajakta Koli.Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:50, 19 July 2020 (UTC)- Looking through your edits a bit more closely, I'm scaling back the suggestion you are a paid editor, however if you are, you need to disclose that, per WP:PAID. That said, your copyright violations were egregious, and any efforts to get unblocked are going to require you to read our copyright policy and explain in your own words what was problematic about edits like this and this. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 13:31, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
I apologise for these edits which violate the copyright policies. I will ensure the edits are not copy-pasted, Instead are written by myself in a correct grammatical form. Further on I will ensure that I will add more citations to my edits. Karnatakapolatics (talk) 14:13, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
