User talk:Karmus
Greetings!
My name is Ryan, and it's my pleasure to welcome you, Karmus, to Wikipedia! First of all, I'd like to thank you for joining the project, and contributing to articles and discussion. I hope you can continue to take part in Wikipedia, because we need more valuable editors like yourself.
If you are new and need some assistance, here are some great links to check out:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia are the primary goals and most important rules that we follow.
- These help pages are important if you'd like to learn more about specific processes.
- The tutorial is a hands-on approach to learning all about editing.
- For a "crash course" in editing, head on over to Redwolf24's Bootcamp!
- Writing a great article is a noble accomplishment. An article you start might end up on the Main Page!
- The Manual of style is an in-depth group of pages that will teach you how to make articles look their very best.
I hope you enjoy editing here, and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, find out where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Before I go, here's one more tip. When you post on talk pages, be sure to sign your name and the date by typing four tildes: ~~~~. That automatically generates your username and the date. Again, welcome, and happy editing! --King of All the Franks 23:47, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
An anonymous user is signing your username
[edit]Just a heads up, comments were left at Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Log/2006 August 23 (edit | [[Talk:Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Log/2006 August 23|talk]] | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) by 62.107.217.153 (talk · contribs). I reverted them. Feel free to log in and then revert my removal of these comments if it was indeed you who did it. If they are readded by an anonymous IP (with your username as the signature) I will be forced to remove them again. BigNate37(T) 22:01, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
MySpace
[edit]I didn't delete your addition to MySpace because it was vandalism; rather, because it wasn't appropriate. Articles are not intended for posting temporary notices or complaints about their subject.. —tregoweth (talk) 21:23, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Icy Tower
[edit]Could I suggest that mundane editorial disagreements are most likely to resolve quickly and productively when editors observe the following:
- Remain polite per WP:Civility.
- Solicit feedback and ask questions.
- Keep the discussion focused. Concentrate on a small set of related matters and resolve them to the satisfaction of all parties.
- Focus on the subject rather than on the personalities of the editors.
Thanks! Chondrite 18:18, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Elwood
[edit]It's good to know that it comes from Elwood, but it really sounds a bit weird and sounds as spam. Like - this writer wrote a book and here's al ist of people who are his fans and made fan drawings. So I think that you can include links to the remakes into the Links section, okay? Cheers!
On the other hand I read it and it sounds okay, so let's leave it! =)

Your edits to Venstre (Denmark)
[edit]Hi. You and Valentinian seem to be reverting each other's edits. I recommend you go to Talk:Venstre (Denmark)#Ideology and discuss so we can establish consensus on what to write for ideology, rather than it evolving into an edit war. December 2007
[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Venstre (Denmark). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Simply stating your opinion on the talk page is not sufficient to create a consensus. You may end up being right about this, but until this has been debated, please stop re-adding your content. - You should probably stop adding those things to other Danish parties as well. AFAIK, "center-left" is not the official position of the social democrats. Lilac Soul (talk • contribs • count) 10:35, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Your comments on my talkpage
[edit]I am not trying to punish you. I know that you are trying to improve Wikipedia, and for that I thank you. But I have pointed both you and Valentinian to the talkpage in question so that we can have a consensus BEFORE deciding whether to use your or his wording. That does not mean that I am automatically deciding against your content, but since you're the one claiming that this should be there against what appears to be consensus (there's nothing official about the positions you're adding), we'll stick to the old way until and unless consensus is established that your way is better. My apologies if you felt I was trying to punish you, I was not. But you did ignore an invitation to gain a consensus by re-adding the content in dispute. Fair use rationale for Image:Fr-fulr1.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Fr-fulr1.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Anarchocommunism.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Anarchocommunism.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. NotifyBot (talk) 14:51, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
