Hi Karl, I have looked at the article again and will do a bit of work on it tonight, but there are three sections that have no inline references at all: Governance Structure, Functioning, and Involved Organizations and Countries. All the information in these sections must have come from somewhere and you need to reference the sources for this information within those sections. If you could do that for me, I will continue to work on the rest of it. I think it's a good topic and the article can be made to meet the guidelines, so let's work on it together. If you need further assistance with the referencing, please get back to me. Snowysusan 21:17, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- Dear Susan, thanks a lot for your help! You are right, these sections are lacking references. I will try to close this gap as soon as possible (probably until the end of the week)!Karl Magnus (talk) 12:23, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- Dear Susan, thanks for your help on the article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Enhanced_integrated_framework)! It reads much better now. I have added a few references in the sections that you had mentioned in order to add to the article's verifiability. I also tried to show contrasting perspectives in the "History" section and in the references as a response to another reviewer's comment about the article's (apparent) resemblence to an advertisement. There is not much literature on the subject, especially not from academic or other "neutral" circles, which makes it difficult to make bulletproof assertions and reflect a (non-existant) vivid debate about the subject. There are thousands of articles in wikipedia with much less referencing and much less care in fulfilling wikipedia's quality standards. I wonder why this one got totally rejected...Anyhow, I would be glad if you could have another look at the current version and let me know if I should do any other changes before re-submitting. Thanks again for your help! Karl Magnus (talk) 11:20, 23 August 2012 (UTC)

Hiya Karl. I move the page to the mainspace as I think it meets all the conditions to be created. Please feel free to add more sources but it's a good article. --Patrick (talk) 15:37, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- Hi Patrick! Thanks a lot, you just made my day :). I will work on the sources and ask a few friends and colleagues, who are knowledgeable about the subject, to give me their suggestions.Karl Magnus (talk) 08:14, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
Trade promotion
[edit]Hi Kari. I saw your comment on the Trade WikiProject on Trade promotion and creating a new article for Trade promotion (international trade). I agree on both the move of the current Trade promotion article to Trade promotion (Marketing) and the creation of a new trade oriented article. You should be able to move the article to the new name. If you run into problems, let me know. I would also be bold and once you get a draft of the article on new trade promotion that you are happy, feel free to create the article in the mainspace. You seem to have a good grasp of wikipedia and AFC process is generally for people who have much less knowledge of the policy here. FYI, you comment on the trade wikiproject is probably better suited for the talk page of the project. More people would probably notice it and allows people to comment easier. Again, let me know if you run into any problems or have any questions. Cheers, --Patrick (talk) 14:23, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
- Dear Patrick, thanks a lot for your advice! I actually did not know that I could directly create an article in the namespace. I thought AFC is the usual if not only way to go. So, I did as you have suggested: I moved the marketing-related article and created the export-related one. It is still a bit short but maybe we can find a few people who are interested in expanding it. I will move the reference to the article on the Wikiproject Trade page right away to the talk page.

[edit]Seeking help editing an article
[edit]Hi @Karl Magnus:,
I am a student who is new to Wikipedia. In one of my subjects, I am editing and updating the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement article. I saw that you are a member of Wikiproject: Trade and was wondering if you would be able to provide me with some feedback and help me improve it.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! :)
