Welcome!
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, Karakildare! Thank you for your contributions. I am Nickvet419 and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{helpme}}
at the bottom of this page. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Nickvet419 (talk) 03:24, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 13:06, 28 October 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm GoneIn60. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Kings Island, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - How do I do that?. I have old park maps so my information is accurate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Karakildare (talk • contribs) 12:47, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
- Click this link for help: WP:REFB. That should be enough to get you started. Realize that reliable sources must be accessible by the general public and must be presented by a reliable publisher. WP:V explains this in more detail. Although you have the park maps, you can't simply scan them into a personal webpage and use that as a source on Wikipedia. Wikipedia has sister projects that aren't as strict on editing like WikiVoyage. You could post the information/research you have there instead. Hope that helps. Let me know if you still have any other questions. --GoneIn60 (talk) 13:09, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
