Notability of Katherine Hayes
[edit]The article Katherine Hayes has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
I can see a couple of reasons why this article keeps being deleted. First of all, it doesn't make any real claims of importance - as far as I can see it's about an actress who was in three episodes of a TV series, so it looks like a single minor role. You can't really compare a bit-part TV actress to Julia Roberts. The best way to establish notability is to include references to sources (such as newspapers or magazines) which discuss the subject in detail - all I see is a very short entry on IMDB, which isn't really enough. Finally, the article includes negative information about her private life (drunken incidents at parties and the like) but provides no sources to back up the claims - please see the policy on biographies of living people for why this is unacceptable. If you think you can improve the article then please do, but please don't keep recreating it in it's current form - it will just get deleted, and you'll just get blocked.
