Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Beginning of an anti-Greek language policy among Turkish-Cypriots

[edit]

Although the Turkish-Cypriots had offered Greek as an academic subject in their secondary schools and bilingual education with Turkish and Greek in the ‘Greek-speaking Turkish areas’ from the late 1800’s, a change came in the mid 1950s. There was concern over the fact that some areas were still using Greek as the ‘lingua franca’. The most obvious reason for this change in attitude was the establishment of the Greek illegal EOKA organization in 1955 and its armed campaign for Enosis (Union with Greece) in the period from 1955–1959.Kanuni Sultan Suleyman 18:50, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Transnistria

[edit]

The article, as you have rewritten it, is terrible, and I will not let it stand. Sorry. Lexicon (talk) 19:36, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No, the article may have been changed to that version once or twice, but it was *never* a standing version. It has been as my revert put it, for a long time. Please check the history of the article. Lexicon (talk) 19:39, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
LISTEN UP! The version as I have put it is not a "sock version", it is a version that was agreed to, and worked on, by many people over months. Your version is RIDICULOUSLY wrong, is NOT agreed to by anyone, and will be reverted by me and others. Go away now. Lexicon (talk) 19:42, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
