Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, KanMi6, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as User:KanMi6/sandbox, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, ask me on my talk page. You can also type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Drm310 🍁 (talk) 03:46, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to know how I should modify my Wikipedia article. I am just practicing writing and formatting in my sandbox. Please help me make the necessary changes correctly. Thank you very much. KanMi6 (talk) 06:54, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:KanMi6/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. First, if you work for AroundDeal, the Terms of Use require that to be declared, please read the paid editing policy, as well as conflict of interest.
You claimed the logo of the company as your own personal work- this makes it available for anyone to copy and(as long as they provide attribution) do with as they please, including selling it, and your company would not be entitled to any money from the sale of its logo. You will need to have the logo deleted from Commons, as Commons does not host copyrighted images. It can be uploaded to this Wikipedia directly, though it cannot be used in a draft until that draft is placed in the encyclopedia.
Wikipedia is not a place to merely document the existence of a company and tell what it does. Any article about your company must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. "Significant coverage" goes beyond merely describing the activities or existence of the company and goes into detail about what the source sees as important/significant/influential about the company. Announcements of routine activities(like funding rounds or the release of a product), brief mentions, staff interviews, and the like do not establish notability. Niche industry awards typically should not be mentioned unless the award itself merits an article(like Academy Award or Nobel Peace Prize). Marketing language should be removed("leading company"; every company thinks they are the leader)
You will need to fundamentally start over writing such a draft, and limit yourself to summarizing what independent reliable sources say about the company. You may use the Article Wizard or visit Articles for Creation to start the process of writing a draft if you still wish to proceed. What are the three absolute best sources that give your company significant coverage? 331dot (talk) 08:25, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see that you declared a COI- again, if you work for the company, the Terms of Use require you to make the stricter paid editing disclosure. 331dot (talk) 08:50, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I will try to create a new one according to the rules, but I do not understand the correct meaning of COI. Do you have real-time software to help me? KanMi6 (talk) 08:56, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please click on and read WP:COI to learn more about conflict of interest, but in short, you should avoid directly making edits about subjects for which you have a conflict of interest. For existing articles, you are welcome to make formal edit requests(click for instructions) detailing changes you feel are needed. If you wish to create an article about your company, you must use the Articles for Creation process. Please see my advice above. What are the three absolute best sources you have where a source gives your company significant coverage? This can't be a staff interview, brief mention, or announcement of the routine activities of the company.
See WP:CHAT for a real time chat forum, though I don't use it. 331dot (talk) 09:00, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This means that I, as an employee, try not to edit my own company's articles, right? KanMi6 (talk) 09:06, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you shouldn't directly edit about your company, be it in existing articles or creating a new one. As I said, you may indirectly contribute by making edit requests or submitting a draft. If you write a draft that is accepted into the encyclopedia, you would need to make edit requests for further changes to it. 331dot (talk) 09:11, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I am writing my draft now, can you help me review it? Thank you very much for your help. KanMi6 (talk) 09:16, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I can once you've published the draft and also made the paid disclosure. 331dot (talk) 09:20, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can I need click the "Publish Page" button? KanMi6 (talk) 09:22, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"Publish changes" should be understood to mean "save", it does not mean "publish this to the encyclopedia". The button used to say save, but was changed to emphasize that all edits to every page on Wikipedia are public(even if not part of the encyclopedia, like a talk page or this page) 331dot (talk) 09:26, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
OK, now I saved it, please help edit it, thanks so much. KanMi6 (talk) 09:28, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
An automated filter has detected that you are adding a link to a deprecated source, considered generally unreliable after discussion by the community. References to these sources are generally prohibited, especially when other more reliable sources exist. Please cite a more reliable source instead. If the only source you can find for the claims is one of these deprecated sources then you should not add the content in question.
Note: There are limited exceptions to this rule (such as when the source itself is the topic being discussed). If you have checked the policy on Wikipedia:Reliable sources and the deprecated source guidance (or checked at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard) and verified that your edit is one of the limited exceptions, then you may resubmit it by clicking "Publish changes" again. Please do not do this unless you have first verified that this specific use of the deprecated source has broad support, especially for biographical articles: deprecated sources are liable to be removed on sight and persistent addition can lead to editing restrictions.
Sorry, Here is the tips, How to check which source is wrong.
But these sources are all reliable, fair publications from third parties? KanMi6 (talk) 09:31, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Found and deleted the error source, now it has been saved, please help me. KanMi6 (talk) 09:44, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you submitted the draft, it would be declined. The first sentence is marketing language and needs to be reworded for a neutral point of view. Securing funding is a routine business activity that does not establish notability. The award does not have an article itself and seems to be a niche award. If this is all you have, the company does not merit an article at this time. 331dot (talk) 09:52, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for your help. I will optimize the modification you proposed.
Do you have TG or shype, I have a lot of questions I want to ask you. Or will I contact you at any time on the wiki? KanMi6 (talk) 10:00, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I only use Wikipedia to communicate about Wikipedia matters. I will see your posts here, or you may use the Teahouse to ask questions. 331dot (talk) 12:53, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Again, logos cannot be in drafts. Images in general are not relevant to the draft approval process, which only considers the text and sources. 331dot (talk) 09:55, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Got it, will delete it. KanMi6 (talk) 10:01, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How to delete this Draft:AroundDeal KanMi6 (talk) 10:16, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you wish to delete the draft, I can do so. If you just want to start over, you may just blank the draft and put new text. 331dot (talk) 12:54, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
