Don’t worry, just try to source your edits!

[edit]

Hello there. I know that we’ve been involved with an edit dispute for the Kalaripayattu page, but for what it’s worth, I do not think you’re a sock puppet. I know that your account is only 2 months old, and like myself, you are a Kalaripayattu practitioner who wishes to contribute to the page of our martial art. You’ve made some great contributions, and I think you’re a great asset to the page as long as your source your info. Personally, I’m open to changing the page if decent sources are provided. I would advise using books and reliable sources to source your material when making any major contributions, so people do not have a reason to question it. One of the best contributions you have made are the photos of various poojas that are done in the kalari. Any other valuable images you can find will be very useful in making the page grow.

Even though you are new to Wikipedia, I’m sorry to say that you have already learned that there are lots of disruptive, rude and malicious people on this site. Many of them, such as that anonymous 2409 IP editor, will edit anything that does not support their point of view, and start fighting when their views and ulterior motives are not supported. People like them will stop at nothing to push their own agenda, be it regionalism, pro-Ezhava/Thiyya, pro-Nair, Anti-Ezhava/Thiyya, Anti-Nair, Pro-Hindu, Anti-Hindu, etc. It is up to actual kalari practitioners like us to fight against people who want to use our Kerala’s own martial art for their selfish needs.

Please don’t be discouraged by such people. It’s rare to find people with actual experience in Kalari editing this page, so please keep contributing the best you can. I know English is not your first language, but I’m happy to help clean up any English language mistakes in your edits as long as they are properly sourced, just like I did with the Madhya Kalari section. :) Kalariwarrior (talk) 01:41, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, an incompetent editor advising another incompetent editor :) Both of you first familiarize with basic WP policies and guidelines. WP is not for people like you. This is an encyclopedia, not a place for promotion. What kind of a person are you Kalariwarrior. Don't you have any shame? To cast aspersions on me just because I caught you red-handed while propagating your POV and pro-Hinduism agenda. I have POV? Then what is my POV? Show me a single edit of my regionalism, pro-Ezhava/Thiyya, pro-Nair, Anti-Ezhava/Thiyya, Anti-Nair, Pro-Hindu, Anti-Hindu. Both of YOUR propaganda can be picked from the history. 157.44.145.18 (talk) 12:48, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I may have made a mistake in my understanding mentioning you on that talk page. Anyhow as Kalariwarrior said keep contributing to Wikipedia.Thank You For Your Understanding Outlander07@talk 17:09, 6 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I see that the article is edited by two groups—one advocating pro-Thiyya, anti-Nair and the other pro-Nair, anti-Thiyya. Your casteism propaganda is not going to work. You people do not fit in this century and is nothing but a burden to a healthy society and should be ashamed of yourself. 157.44.145.18 (talk) 12:48, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You can try to insult me again as you did earlier, but same as before, I will not respond to any ad hominem insults towards me. I will not sink to that level in any of my responses.
With all due respect,I did not cast any aspersions. I merely agreed with the accusation made by Outlander07. I’m sure that others you’ve dealt with such as Suneye1 will agree that you are, as Outlander stated, a refined POV pusher who pushes his POV through a combination of IP hopping, WP:GAMING, and WP:Wikilawyering.
In fact, one of the IPs you hop on has multiple bans and a record of block evasion on it.
You clearly have some sort of POV to push. Any material in any article that you do not agree with is instantly wrong, even if adequate sources are provided. MRRaja001 can likely attest to this, as when he attempted to find more sources, you instantly shot him down and accused him of pushing a POV as well. It appears that you believe that anyone who disagrees with you is “pushing a POV.” You claim that a lot of information is wrong, but rarely have sources or counter sources to back up your own claims. As for your regionalistic and caste based POV pushing, some of the IPs you hop on appear to have a vested interest in adding phrases such as “North Malabar,” “Thiyyar” and other related terms to a number of articles. Like I said before, I am completely open to changes as long as they are done legitimately. The article was kept as neutral as possible, with little to no mention of caste, be it Nair, Ezhava or any other group. In fact, the only time caste was brought up at all was when you accused Outlander07, as per his claim, of being “racist, Anti-Ezhava, and Pro-Nair.” The article had little mention of caste prior to this, and despite attempts by many people with political or casteist agendas, it was kept that way.
You claim that I am pushing a POV, but I don’t see what you mean. I am not pushing any “Hindu” POV either, as the word “Hindu” is barely mentioned in the article at all, maybe 2-3 times at most where it is appropriate. Hinduism is indeed tied to Kalaripayattu, this is an undeniable fact, whether it be traditional beliefs of its origins, to its rituals, or to the medicinal practices followed in it, such as Ayurveda. Hinduism has a relationship to Kalaripayattu in a manner similar to the way Gatka is related to Sikhism. Gatka draws from Sikhism the same way that Kalaripayattu draws from Hinduism. Stating this in the article is not “POV pushing.” If you want to dispute this, please come forward with sources that say it is not based on Hindu concepts, rituals or medicinal concepts, and I’ll be happy to take a look at them. That being said, I have tried to keep the article as non-religiously biased as possible, while still keeping the teachings and traditional views intact.
It is one thing to disagree, and it is another thing to insult and make rude, sarcastic comments towards people. Anarchyte, I would recommend you take a look at this IP as well, as you have dealt with this person before, along with some of the other IPs he has hopped to (and subsequently been banned on, as can be seen here:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&page=User%3A2409%3A4073%3A0%3A0%3A0%3A0%3A0%3A0%2F34&type=block.
He is clearly in violation of WP:RUDE/WP:HOSTILE as well WP:NPA. He has also made rude, sarcastic comments against me on Outlander07’s talk page, as well as threats of banning and warnings from anonymous accounts on my talk page and the talk page of Kalari Poothara (whose talk page we are currently on). Keeping this in mind, I want to say that he may be in violation of WP:HARASS as well, though I’m not entirely sure if this would constitute that. Kalariwarrior (talk) 15:16, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Kalariwarrior: ... will not sink to that level, Yeah, like anonymous 2409 IP editor, will edit anything that does not support their point of view, and start fighting when their views and ulterior motives are not supported. People like them will stop at nothing to push their own agenda, be it regionalism, pro-Ezhava/Thiyya, pro-Nair, Anti-Ezhava/Thiyya, Anti-Nair, Pro-Hindu, Anti-Hindu, etc.. Don't you have any shame to lie right below where you did that. I don't get how your brain works, seriously.
  • I will not respond to any ad hominem, yeah, that's why you are writing essays. This is what happens when you don't follow the Golden Rule. You throw shit, you get shit.
  • You are editing as WP:TAGTEAM, so don't point others. ... a refined POV pusher who pushes his POV through a combination of IP hopping, WP:GAMING, and WP:Wikilawyering. Prove this with evidence, show my POV edits. Not them, YOU.
  • In fact, one of the IPs you hop on has multiple bans and a record of block evasion on it.. First of all, you prove that I am "hopping" voluntarily, and that I am the one who got blocked. That is an IP range containing millions of IPs, a block to the range effects everyone. On what basis are you accusing that is me?
  • You clearly have some sort of POV to push. Any material in any article that you do not agree with is instantly wrong, even if adequate sources are provided ... My which edit was against any Wikipedia policy? provide those edits. What is my POV? explain specifically with diffs. And sourcing does not guarantee inclusion. I don't think you know what POV means.
  • ... It appears that you believe that anyone who disagrees with you is “pushing a POV.” You claim that a lot of information is wrong, but rarely have sources or counter sources to back up your own claims. You are describing yourself. BTW, which edits are you referring here? provide those. Show a single edit which was against any Wikipedia policy. Explain specifically with diffs. I have clearly explained your and others POV pushing in talk page. You have failed to address that.
  • As for your regionalistic and caste based POV pushing, some of the IPs you hop on appear to have a vested interest. What is the basis for claiming that it was my IP?
  • The article was kept as neutral as possible - this alone shows your incompetency. That entire article is a propaganda article with lots of issues. I have clearly mentioned it in two sections in the talk page. Either you address it or clean that article. If you are not competent to do that, then shut up.
  • I have tried to keep the article as non-religiously biased as possible. Yeah, I can see that when you changed "Indian mythology" to "Hindu mythology".
  • That garbage of bogus allegation by Suneye1 was trashed by admins at ANI. No one attended that shit. It was archived so fast that I didn't even got a chance to reply. So, next time you cast aspersions on me with that or anything else without evidence, I am going to file a report against you with evidences at WP:ANI.

One thing I noticed on your essay is that you are pointing others to share the dirt you made. They are undoubtedly more competent than you and understands Wikipedia policies better. But you believe WP policies are my POV. Your's is a single-purpose account with vested interest in promoting your martial art, you are not here to abide any policies, guidelines or whatsoever. You treat Wikipedia as some kind of personal blog where you can dump anything and format it in anyway you like. Ask me for diffs, I will provide, and transfer that to ANI. 2409:4073:4D95:DDAB:D015:AC1A:3D56:449A (talk) 16:31, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@ 157.44.145.18 Go about your work without causing headaches to others. First, find out for yourself what you are doing. I do not think Wikipedia needs a complex minded editor like you. You are no one to judge and teach others. To be honest you are a huge burden to everyone including us. Outlander07@talk 15:37, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Outlander, first you learn to provide edit summary, WP:REVEXP. That's the basic thing to practice in WP. I can surely teach you or others if they don't know shit. I have only pointed WP's own policies and guidelines. I will be a burden to anyone who is editing with vested interest and propaganda. If you abide Wikipedia policies then I am with you. BTW, your contribution history in Malayalam Wikipedia alone show your casteism. 2409:4073:4D95:DDAB:D015:AC1A:3D56:449A (talk) 16:31, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Outlander07: I might have had an error in judgment calling you a casteist at multiple venues, after all, editing caste related topics alone does not make someone casteist. I also agree with you here, it was indeed POV. You could have brought that up in talk page. My only aim was to maintain NPOV. What Adhithya Kiran is doing is PR work of his caste Thiyya, he's a casteist and a racist too (made racist slur against me using the name of a lower-caste community). Now blocked in Commons too, I started SPI at ml.wiki. He has already messed up articles there. Your service is needed now at ml.wiki more than anytime. 2409:4073:380:F3C2:646E:7C65:D12F:5805 (talk) 14:22, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Anyway, thanks for kicking him out. See you soon there at ml.wiki Outlander07@talk 12:05, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you.

Who are you? You arw not a registered user.. not even a admin. Who are you to warm me for your disruptive editing?

First come in your id. Kalari Poothara (talk) 00:46, 11 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You know what disruptive editing is? Show me a single edit. I can show you loads of garbage you dumped on that page. WP is not your personal blog to promote your stupid martial art. 157.44.145.18 (talk) 12:48, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Thiyyar related content in Wikipedia. It is commendable. Not many users are there, some others are here to tarnish the community. Sir, are you a member of Thiyyar organizations, like Thiyya Mahasabha? Do you hold any position? I will appreciate if you can give me your email ID or number. But it's okay if you don't want to reveal it. 103.99.204.83 (talk) 09:24, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not related to any organization. I'm not from the above mentioned community. I'm a history student studying at calicut university, also a martial arts researcher. I'm like to contribute to more on history and martial arts.

Thank you

Kalari Poothara (talk) 14:03, 19 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Nice try. You already admitted that you are the secretary of Thiyya Mahasabha, and it's now common knowledge that you are the sock of User:Adhithya Kiran Chekavar and is here only to do PR work for your caste, Thiyya. Wikipedia is not the place for propaganda. 2409:4073:380:F3C2:646E:7C65:D12F:5805 (talk) 14:22, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
