Poulsen 12:55, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Subpages for deletion

[edit]

Hi, just mark your sub-pages for deletion with {{db-author}}. As you are the only editor of these pages, they meet criteria for speedy deletion. Cheers -- Samir (the scope) धर्म 17:25, 9 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Denmark Paraguay 2006.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Denmark Paraguay 2006.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

FIFA World Cup Group stage articles

[edit]

I'm proposing to delete all the group stage articles since it's in the main article and is linked to the fifaworldcup.com game summary. Kingjeff 21:27, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've taken my comment and your comment to me to the discussion pages of articles. Kingjeff 21:39, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I made

{{FIFA 2006}}

earlier today, I saw you also made

{{World Cup 2006 stages}}

Might be worth merging them. Rich Farmbrough 12:05 16 June 2006 (GMT).

Fair use rationale

[edit]

Hey. First, you asked about a fair use rational at Image:Lars Jacobsen.jpg. Then i wrote one, and deleted your little "no rationale-box". Now you sat the box on the description page again; What more do you want me to write? kalaha 11:24, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As that little box says, I'm looking for an explanation as to why the image meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use criteria. In particular, I'm looking for an explanation as to why Wikipedia needs that specific image of him rather than some other image, and an explanation as to why it's no longer possible to take pictures of him. --Carnildo 04:18, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Keep in mind that lying about the copyright status of an image is grounds for being banned from Wikipedia. --Carnildo 03:31, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Player infoboxes

[edit]

Hi, I saw that you have created a few infoboxes that are carbon copies of the standard player infobox, for example {{Marcus Allbäck infobox}} and {{Michael Gravgaard infobox}}. I suggest you instead use the {{Football player infobox}} directly on the pages of the players as there is no need to have an infobox used for only one single article, and then just speedy the player infoboxes. Good luck! (And let's hope that you use Oscar Wendt well...) – Elisson Talk 13:30, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, you should list the infoboxes for deletion at Wikipedia:Templates_for_deletion, not at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion. ~ trialsanderrors 18:42, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Landsholdsdragten

[edit]

Poulsen 19:58, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Danish football kit

[edit]

Of course, it will be a honour (specially of Denmark... my grandmother is from there). When I started to made the kits, I noticed that the Danish ones had problems, but for time (working at Wiki-Es in the FIFA WC articles) I didn't made them. At first, the home kit for France is the same for the away of Danmark, so we will use that (code: _fra06h) and now I will improve _den06h. --KRATK 21:48, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Parken.jpg)

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Parken.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box.

Poulsen 22:05, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, when you want to link to the article about a defender, please do not link to defender, as that is a disambiguation page (which nothing should be linked to). Instead link to the one of the options found on that page such as defender (football) by writing out [[defender (football)|defender]] Regards, -- Jeff3000 20:44, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template standardizing

[edit]

Thanks for the help with standardizing the goalscorers and euro 2008 templates. But there's still something wrong with the layout of the templates on Jupiler League 2006-07 goalscorers, could you have a look at that please? :) (Possibly the Jupiler League template is not standardized full either :s Thanks in advance! --Pelotastalk 13:17, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Atiba Hutchinson.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Atiba Hutchinson.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion.
