[edit]Thanks for your message. The answer is simple — when I deleted it, I apparently failed to notice his status as a Bronze Medallion recipient. Biographies may be deleted for several different reasons, but the process through which I deleted it is only for biographies that don't explain why their subjects are important. Bronze Medallion recipients are definitely important and may well pass our inclusion standards, which are tougher than simply "being important". Because the article never should have been deleted, I've undeleted it; you may now go back and read the article as if it had never been deleted. Nyttend (talk) 01:10, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
- By the way, I'd like you to know that asking me was the best thing you could have done. There are other ways to contest an already-accomplished deletion, but asking the administrator who deleted the page is pretty much always the best way to go — especially if, as in this case, you have good evidence to show that the page shouldn't have been deleted. Should you have any more questions (whether about Vasquez or about anything else at all), feel free to ask me at my talk page, doing just like you did a few minutes ago.
