Um, are you the Kafuffle that used to be in a MST TFC clan? MSTCrow 00:52, Mar 19, 2005 (UTC)
- My guess is that the name is inspired by one of the characters in Little Britain - "You know what happened last time, it was a right kerfuffle". However, everyone knows it's spelled KER-fuffle. ;-)
- It can be spelt either way ;) plus kerfuffle is already taken in most places, oh and i've been using the name Kafuffle long before Little Britain came along. Kafuffle 11:02, 30 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Wikilyrics is back up in case you are interested. --Anthony5429 14:16, 31 May 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks loads for putting it back up, I'll start adding some more lyrics. Just so I know, was the dispute with Wikipedia ever settled? Are we still allowed to add Wikilyrics Links? Kafuffle 14:48, 31 May 2005 (UTC)
- For now, let's not add any links nor try to save the Wikilyrics article. Once Wikilyrics has grown much more, I will spell out a more moderate and cautious policy on Wikilyrics for adding links to Wikipedia and see if it goes through. --Anthony5429 14:57, 1 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- After many months of dormancy, Wikilyrics is back - now as E-Lyrics. You're welcome to get an account. --Anthony5429 20:37, 1 January 2006 (UTC)

Interpol (band) mp3 link
Hi, I reverted your edit at Interpol (band). User:JYolkowski and I have been reverting altsounds links because they are spam from User:68.38.148.76, an anon who runs altsounds and has been using Wikipedia to promote his site. (He's added over a hundred of these spam links, and it's obviously self-promotion because he said on his talk page that he was in charge of the site. I appreciate that you've been acting in good faith, but he hasn't been, so let's not encourage that.) --Idont Havaname 02:44, 12 July 2005 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Hustle bbc.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Hustle bbc.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. --NaconKantari e|t||c|m 20:31, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
Image tagging for Image:Wright_Stuff_TV_Show_Promo.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Wright_Stuff_TV_Show_Promo.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Orphaned fair use image (Image:In The City.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:In The City.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use rationale for Image:ESpewLogo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:ESpewLogo.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talk • contribs • Bot) 19:44, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Unspecified source for Image:ESpewLogo.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:ESpewLogo.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:44, 17 May 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.Betacommand (talk • contribs • Bot) 19:44, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Maddox's mention of the Nokia E70
Editor, I noticed you addition of maddox's commentary on Trippin'. We have a similiar situation with the Nokia E70 page, though there are editors that will not have maddox's mention of the phone included in the article. I pointed to this article as precedent, to which the other editor replied that it shouldn't be mentioned here either. If you have any thoughts, please volunteer them on the talk page. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Hi! Great works with all the squash stuff, keep it up! Just read Australian Open (squash) and thought there must be more past champions than just two. And here they are :-) -- 188.97.83.92 (talk) 16:30, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for re-adding the information about Sepp's comments, just giving you a heads up, there is thread about it on the talkpage, two editors really don't think this information should appear in the article. Cheers Grim23★ 01:16, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

List of footballers in England and Scotland by number of league appearances
Hi, I've reverted your move to this page, as there is no need for the "retired" - it is not present in other articles, such as List of Gillingham F.C. players (which was a featured list). Regards, GiantSnowman 19:25, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
- The introduction - short as it is - does specify "retired" and "former" players. We could perhaps add a note using <!-- --> to make it even clearer? GiantSnowman 09:36, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

Image:Interpol band.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Interpol band.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- moe.RON Let's talk | done
