Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, KadenKnecht, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Feedback

[edit]

Hi. A few initial thoughts

  • You should draft your article at User:KadenKnecht/sandbox instead of User talk:KadenKnecht/sandbox. You can, for example, use the visual editor in your sandbox, but not on the talk page.
  • What page do you want to work on? I'm not sure precisely which page you plan to expand.
  • It looks like you are behind on your training modules. Please ensure you complete them. You should be using inline citations, for example, instead of author-date format. The training modules explain how to do this.
  • Start with a lead section that summarizes all the major points of the article. Keep "background" sections to a minimum by linking to other articles that cover those topics. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 03:54, 25 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
