User talk:68.63.156.74
[edit]Hello. I know that seeing an IP user blank their own talk page can look kind of fishy, but the comments on User talk:68.63.156.74 were more than six months old, so I don't see any harm in allowing the user (who probably isn't the same user that caused the warnings in the first place) to clear their talk page of the now irrelevant and outdated messages, and I've re-blanked the page. If you have any questions, you can ask on my talk page. Thanks for yout RC Patrol help! Cheers! WODUP 05:33, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- OK, that makes sense. I didn't notice what the dates were when I did that. Oh, and no problem! I enjoy RC patrolling. --KPH2293 05:40, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
William F. "Bill" Cotton
[edit]William F. "Bill" Cotton's son by the same name (who was known as Fred) did NOT serve in the U.S. Army and was not wounded in the Battle of the Bulge. (Fred was born March 25, 1930, and he died March 28, 1998.) The statement about his son should be deleted because it is not true. Jhkobelski 21:13, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
- I'd suggest you bring this up on the article's talk page, then. I have little knowledge of this subject. I reverted 75.65.177.86's edit due to the large amount of content that was removed. --KPH2293 21:31, 3 June 2007 (UTC)

Glad I'm not the only one watching pages
[edit]It may be time soon to create a separate article for the Farmers Branch, Texas immigration fight so that it doesn't take over the main article ... I just finished having to revert these non-neutral POV edits twice in a row, followed by your reversion of the user's third attempt to slant the article (not counting the time the user put in a biased word in favor to replace someone else's bias the other direction). Now the user has started posting to my Talk page claiming I'm the one "typing biased, slanted" information. Anyone following the citations can see they haven't been misrepresented. Ah, well, just wanted to warn you that the user may well assume we're in cahoots even though at the time you made the edits, I was busy replying on his/her Talk page. Lawikitejana 20:14, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- OK. Thanks for telling me. --KPH2293 20:24, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- The user posted to my talk page a couple of other items s/he felt were biased (one of which I was in the middle of fixing at the time, having noticed it when s/he changed it in the middle of that run of edits). So I'm trying to fix those now.Lawikitejana 20:34, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
- Alright. Hope that goes well. --KPH2293 21:44, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Heh
[edit]Looks like I clicked on the wrong userpage and warned you instead of the vandal. Thank's for fighting vandals on Wikipedia, and maybe I'll get some sleep so I can see... P3net 22:06, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

That must have been a head ache
[edit]I saw you battling that IP address with him vandalizing the Sears article, your user and talk page! I was attempting to revert every time I saw that IP, but you just kept beating me to it! Anyways, it's good they're blocked now, just watch out for them when their block expires! :) --♫Twinkler4♫ (Talk to me!) 00:51, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's getting kind of irritating, but I'm fine. Thanks for your revert attempts, by the way. :) --KPH2293 00:57, 13 June 2007 (UTC)

Rockwell-MBB X-31
[edit]In the Rockwell-MBB X-31 article, you "corrected" an image filename, Image:NASA DFRC Herbst manuever diagram.jpg, causing the pic not to display. When making spelling corrections, please be careful not to correct things which, while they may be mispelled, are none-the-less the correct name for the file. Thanks. - BillCJ 05:19, 17 June 2007 (UTC)
- OK, sorry. I'll remember that in the future. --KPH2293 05:21, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism to my user page
[edit]Belated thanks - I just hadn't spotted until now that an IP had visited me, and that you had reverted the vandalism within a minute! Great work. Bencherlite 14:51, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Sorry
[edit]I issued a vandal warning back there on 222.76.205.106 when you were the one who reverted it. Damn edit conflicts! Rmasbury 03:02, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- It's OK, I don't mind. I normally only revert vandals, anyway. --KPH2293 03:05, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Twinkle
[edit]Hi, I saw in some history page that you are using Twinkle. I wanted to do it too, and i've pasted the js-stuff in my monobook.js, but I just don't see any difference! So what I'm wondering about is, how do I get started? 80.203.17.84 21:32, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- Oh I'm sorry i forgot to sign in! — H92 (t · c · no) 21:33, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- Twinkle only works with certain browsers. What browser are you using? --KPH2293 21:39, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- I just downloaded Firefox just for this purpose, so I'm using Firefox right now. — H92 (t · c · no) 21:45, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I'm unsure what's wrong. I'd recommend asking another user who uses Twinkle. Sorry for not being able to help you much. --KPH2293 22:13, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
The Apprentice (UK)
[edit]Hello, KPH2293
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, even though you've been here for 3 or 4 years or so. One thing I was planning to do is track down all the people from the Super Mario Wiki to Wikipedia, as I also work Shell 68066vr there. Some updates: Did you know a new alliance called Niwa was formed? A bunch of Nintendo Independent Wikis formed an alliance called obviously Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance, ie NIWA. Niwa in Japanese also stands for garden. the Super Mario Wiki is in NIWA, and if you want to join the forms, just click the Niwa link and click forms when you get to the website.
Now, for the actual stuff. Someone tried to [http://www.mariowiki.com/MarioWiki:Proposals/2010/30 recreate the Snufit ball, but it didn't get much attention, and if you read the BJAODN at there, you will see that there was a joke proposal. After reading the joke proposal, he quickly deleted it. The same user decided to put the infamous Pie proposal made by Chris, and he/she and a bunch of his/her friends continued the proposal until the hoax 2012. Are you coming back for the 4th MarioWiki Anniversary? Lets see what else... You've sure missed a lot of fun there. I know a few others at both here and the Super Mario Wiki, notably User:Fawfulfury65. See ya later. (You can find out about what happens there if you actually went to the MarioWiki Anniversary.)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference
[edit]Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 18:57, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
