Fair use rationale for Image:DOMOfelin.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:DOMOfelin.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit]Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Twelve Sky. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 22:35, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Your images
[edit]Please read up on the Fair Use Guidelines before uploading any more images. All of your images are not available under the Creative Commons license and you must correct them ASAP, or else they may be deleted. Please see Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline for information on what to do. - Zero1328 Talk? 23:05, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- The sources are also incorrect. They appear to be from some kind of fansite..? Use an official source. - Zero1328 Talk? 23:08, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Please stop
[edit]Please stop uploading images with the incorrect information! - Zero1328 Talk? 23:17, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Please stop this immediately, before the mess grows larger! Please start reading the guidelines on how to properly do this. What you're doing now is illegal. - Zero1328 Talk? 00:06, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
Bad fair use of Image:DOMOflying.jpg
[edit]Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:DOMOflying.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:DOMOflying.jpg is an image with a clearly invalid fair use tag; or it is an image that fails some part of the non-free content criteria and the uploader has been given 48 hours' notification (for images uploaded after 2006-07-13) or seven days' notification (for images uploaded before that date). (CSD I7).
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:DOMOflying.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Request reason:
The images used were from Aeria Games & Entertainment's website. There is no posting on their website that we are not able to use them. Furthermore, I chose what I now know is the incorrect copyright license because I did not know which one to choose. I ask for assistance in figuring out what the correct license is for images that Aeria Games' owns so this does not happen again. It was a mistake. I am an employee of Aeria Games who works on Dream of Mirror Online. I created this page on their request.
Decline reason:
If that is the case, then when your block expires you should read the conflict of interest guidelines. Wikipedia is not a venue for promotion. — IrishGuy talk 01:56, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
It was stated that my sources for either the webpages or images were incorrect. It was said they come from a fansite. Can I ask which sources?— Preceding unsigned comment added by KOlmstead85 (talk • contribs)
- Sign your messages with ~~~~. The source you indicated for the official art was http://www.the-agents.us/ .It appears to be some sort of online webcomic site or something, and it's a mirror. - Zero1328 Talk? 02:54, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
