[edit]Hello, I'm CaroleHenson. An edit that you recently made to Feminist art movement seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Thanks so much for wanting to improve / expand the Feminist art movement article. I needed to revert the edits because there were signatures embedded in the content, use of a blog for a citation, and uncited text added just before cited text (which makes it look like the content came from that source CaroleHenson (talk) 13:34, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Edit to Feminist Art Movement page
[edit]Hello - yes I'm new to wikipedia. I didn't store these edits. Can you send them to me so I can clean them up. I would like to post them. I realise the mistakes and will change them KD3456 (talk) 16:50, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
- Sure! Here you go:
- While the feminist art movement in the United States has been the most documented and recorded in literature and online, feminist art movements emerged in all parts of Europe, Australia, Canada and Latin America in the 1970s. There are now many feminist histories of the women's art movements in Scandanavia, in Japan, in Australia, in Britain, in France.[1] Women artists from Asia, Africa and particularly Eastern Europe emerged in large numbers onto the international art scene in the late 1980s and 1990s as part of the increasing global dynamic of contemporary art. This is why recent exhibitions like [[--KD3456 (talk) 10:39, 31 January 2014 (UTC)sites.moca.org/wack/|WACK!]] (SF MOMA, 2007), [--KD3456 (talk) 10:39, 31 January 2014 (UTC)http://www.brooklynmuseum.org/exhibitions/global_feminisms/ Global Feminisms] (Brooklyn Museum, 2007), Rebelle[2] --KD3456 (talk) 10:39, 31 January 2014 (UTC)(MMKA, Arnheim, 2009), Kiss Kiss Bang Bang!--KD3456 (talk) 10:39, 31 January 2014 (UTC) (Bilbao Fine Arts Museum, 2007), Elles--KD3456 (talk) 10:39, 31 January 2014 (UTC) (2009-2011) at Centre Pompidou have been increasingly international in their selection. This shift is also reflected in journals like n.paradoxa.

- Hi, thanks for adding content to this page! It's sorely needed. Just a couple of things:
- I reverted the content in the first history paragraph because it didn't look as if the content was coming from the "Art Story" source (http://www.theartstory.org/movement-feminist-art.htm#). If you're adding new content in an existing block of cited text, then the new content should have the source of that content.
- External links are not supposed to be in the body of articles (See WP:External links), but I think it all but one case it was appropriate to have them as citations... so that's how I formatted them. Their may be a wikipedia article on some of the names, if so, it would be great to add wikilinks [[ ]].
- Thanks!--CaroleHenson (talk) 20:01, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
