How can I prove if an edit is true? That is all.
- If you mean 'How can I show to others reading the article that something I have written is true?', then you should always put references for everything you say, ideally in a reference publication which is reputable. That way people reading the article can then read the thing and check what you have said. —Daniel (‽) 20:15, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit]How can I tell if an article is not neutral?
- It's really just by the style of the article. For example, and article that says "Abortion is a sin and should be illegal", that is obviously not neutral. Conversely, saying something like "Abortion is a very controversial issue. Some people feel that it is a sin and should not be legalized. Other people feel that a mother has the right to choose to have her baby and that it should be legalized in certain situations." In this case, that passage would be fairly neutral, since it discusses both sides of the issue without specifically leaning towards any one side.
- If you're ever unsure if a passage is neutral or not, try asking on the articles talk page (the discussion/talk tab) and get some opinions on how a sentence might be better phrased to represent a neutral point-of-view. Hope that helps a bit! —Keakealani •Poke Me•contribs• 21:08, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
What can I do about vandalism?
- See Wikipedia:Vandalism. There are a few different places for different types of vandalism. For blatant vandalism that is currently happening, report it at WP:AIV. Keep in mind that if it is not blatant wildness, it may be someone legitimately thinking they are doing the right thing by adding or removing something or edit warring. This is no good, but it is not the same thing as vandalism, and should be brought up on the user's talk page or on the article discussion page. —Centrx→talk • 19:34, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
How can I put up a vandalism box? How can I tell if an article needs cleanup?
- I don't know what you mean by vandalism box. If you want to tag an article as needing cleanup, add {{cleanup}} to the top of the article. There are more specific cleanup messages you can add, found at Wikipedia:Template messages/Cleanup. Of course, it might be better to help it up yourself. —Centrx→talk • 19:54, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit]How can I tell if an article requires cleanup? How do I check if something is copyrighted? How do you create a brand new article?
- Your own judgement should be able to tell you whether or not an article needs to be cleaned up. For checking if something is copyrighted, a Google search for random phrases from the text is normally the best way to do that, or you can try visiting the website of the subject of the article to see if the particular text or image is there. Information on creating an article is available at WP:CREATE. talk to JD wants e-mail 00:09, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

How do I cure a cold?
- Beyond the helpme system I'm afraid, you could try the reference desk, though I suspect the answer will be that colds are viral and so there isn't a "cure" (But I'm not a doctor). --pgk(talk) 22:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
