Reversions

[edit]

Hi there! I noticed your excellent contributions on Julian the Apostate and Gallienus. I wanted to give you heads-up that some (not all) of your edits were reverted by another Wikipedia user with some, uh, narrow views on what kind of information belongs in those articles. I'm currently under a self-imposed flag of truce with regard to his edits and am letting administrators and other parties deal with him, but I wanted to let you know (especially since you're a new user) about the changes he made to your contributions. Don't be discouraged or put off--this is not how life on Wikipedia normally goes! Dppowell 22:46, 22 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

About your edit to Romulus Augustus

[edit]

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. --Nehwyn 18:00, 5 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is exactly the sort of commentary that is utterly useless to any new editor. One learns nothing and one is only angered by the message. For this reason I will be abandoning my editing of Wikipedia. I don't need this 'nonsense.' Now that's an appropriate use of the above word. I have sent in a request that this 'Nehwyn' be disciplined approriately. It's been real!
