Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!

The article Satyavarapu Naga Parameswara Gupta has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article about a scientist does not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline for academics. It has been tagged for that reason since March 2016

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hello K.Venkataramana,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, SRI VENUGOPALA SWAMY TEMPLE, may be copied from http://srikakulamgeneralinfo.blogspot.in/2009/09/sri-venugopala-swamy-temple-at.html. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 13:21, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of SRI ENDALA MALLIKHARJUNA SWAMY, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://srikakulamgeneralinfo.blogspot.com/2009/09/endala-malleswara-swamy-temple-at.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Hello, K.Venkataramana, and thank you for your contributions!

I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, DANTHAPURI, is copied from another Wikipedia page, Danthavarapukota. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:

  1. a link to the article you copied from
  2. the date you copied it

You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.

If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.

Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 17:14, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the page SRI VENUGOPALA SWAMY TEMPLE, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition was deleted under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

You may also e-mail or mail the Foundation to release the content. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more.

While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with our copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright concerns very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

[edit]

Please read this. Some of your recent articles might have got slipped in without problem but you chose to alert new page patrollers by shouting theor titles. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:55, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Did you actually read the above? So why did you add shouting to V.P.Srinivas and Lokanatham Nandikeswararao? And not just shouting but bold shouting. Please answer.

Other advice: learn to do references and inter-wiki links properly but above all start to add proper links to significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources. You may get away with unreferenced articles on the Telegu Wikipedia but we have higher standards here. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 09:47, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You may also explain this edit which I would call pure vandalism. Wikipedia (in any language) is not a reliable source so we do not put it in the references. (In case you did not notice, a properly formatted interwiki link appears in the left hand part of the page in a section headed Languages.) — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 17:56, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Lokanatham Nandikeswararao for deletion

[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Lokanatham Nandikeswararao is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lokanatham Nandikeswararao until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. I, Jethrobot drop me a line (note: not a bot!) 16:46, 23 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I strongly suggest visiting your welcome links to learn how to properly write articles with references. References are necessary to verify content especially if the content is controversial. Please note that if you continue starting unreferenced articles, they will mostly likely be deleted. Please visit Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners to learn how to cite references, I should note that non-English references are acceptable. As for V.P.Srinivas, thanks for adding the references but please add details such as the news article's title and journalist(s) (if any). Speedy deletion nomination of Balivada Kantharao

[edit]

Hello Kvr.lohith,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Balivada Kantharao for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, George Ponderevo (talk) 15:08, 1 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Dusi Benarjee has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -- MSTR (Chat Me!) 08:38, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello K.Venkataramana,

Thank you for creating Nandi Awards of 2007.

User:Usedtobecool, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Thank you for creating these articles. I have marked them as reviewed because they are part of an established series which have many articles already existing. But these articles, as they are do not really add anything to the encyclopedia. Please consider expanding them to include a complete list of awards, supported by independent coverage. Regards!
