A tag has been placed on Downingtown East High School, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Teralba

[edit]

The reason I deleted the text you added was that a) it had been copied verbatim from another site and b) most of it wasn't even about Teralba anyway. Thus, IMO, it doesn't belong in the article. Cheers Raffles mk 04:29, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Eric sebastian

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Eric sebastian requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.    SIS  00:24, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Jwmorris92 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page.    SIS  00:29, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Let me start of by saying that this account is in no way a sock puppet and am not in any way affiliated with Civicracer7. I have not made thousands of edits but I do my best to clean up articles and fix vandalism. The article in question was poorly written and I tried to clean it up to comply with wikipedia standards. So here is the story. At first I marked the article for speedy deletion due to its lack of organazation, but then I decided to try to change it instead of deleting someone elses work. In hindsight I should have done more research on the topic prior to editing(to check for copyright infringment etc.) but I didn't(rookie mistake I guess). It seems that the case aganist me has been dropped but I thought everyone should know what happened. Jwmorris92 (talk) 01:41, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
