Request reason:

I was blocked by the other user because I vented (politely) on their talk page asking whether they were Illiterate. I suspected illiteracy because the other user removed my legitimate but anonymous (look up the reverse DNS for the IP, I am the administrator of the acorn-nl.ca network) posting of links to legitimate affiliates of the CANARIE network. I do not believe that Wikipedia have any policies about posting links to non-profit entities that are publicly acknowledged as being funded by the organization in the topic being edited. I may have also called the 'person' a sissy. I acknowledge that this other person may not be a native english speaker and may miss some of the finer points of conversation. I promise to find a more appropriate term for sissy in the unlikely event that I ever interact with this <deleted> ..., ever again. Anyway, 'S.' didn't even bother to read the stuff I posted as the update disappeared between my update and a subsequent update made a couple of minutes later. If you don't bother to read something that you delete, you should not have the ability block someone who complains about it to your face.

Decline reason:

Continuing to post attacks (however subtly worded) will not get your block lifted early. TNXMan 12:49, 10 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for block evasion and personal attacks (see edits by previous IP to edit the page). Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Consumer Price Index (Canada), a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:27, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Jwaustin188. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Consumer Price Index".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! JMHamo (talk) 11:33, 21 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
