Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Indian Administrative Service into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you.

A cup of coffee for you!

Good job in improving the article for the Indian Revenue Service. It needs a lot of work, still, but, what you've done in the past few days can be classified as a great start. Keep it up!

Thank you! I admit it does need a lot more work (structuring, citation, content, etc).

Can you point me to some resources for beginniners? This is my first attempt at editing Wikipedia. Jvalin (talk) 02:37, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, sure, I will post some stuff, but, just remember that above all, editing Wikipedia is about common sense. As for the IRS article, I would suggest that you add a few reliably sourced references to support some claims on the article, other than that, in my personal opinion, the article's corruption sub-sub-section is a bit biased against the service with the usage of weasel-y words like 'most', 'corrupt', 'top' et al., most likely these were added by someone who had a strict bias against the service and as such their contribution may not conform to Wikipedia's guidelines on a neutral point-of-view. I have edited a ton of Indian civil service-related articles, especially the article on the Indian Administrative Service (something I am happy about, as it's probably going to reach good article status), so, by all means contact me either through a ping ({{ping|SshibumXZ}}) or message me on my talk page. Have a great day! — Preceding unsigned comment added by SshibumXZ (talkcontribs) 03:03, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
