If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Snake Deadly Act, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Rorshacma (talk) 19:52, 10 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Once Upon a Chinese Hero has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non-notable film

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Go Phightins! Writing about films

[edit]

Hi. :) Thanks for helping to contribute information about films that are not yet on Wikipedia! I did notice that your article seem more like personal film reviews, and I just wanted to let you know that this is not a service we provide here. Our articles may quote from published professional reviews, but we editors are not permitted to state our own opinions about these films. The Neutral Point of View policy is one of the core policies on Wikipedia; we have to be strictly neutral and factual in what we say ourselves.

I have revised your article on the Shanghai Encounter and also moved it to Shanghai, Shanghai, since the sources that I was able to find out (we are required to cite sources - see WP:V) suggest it was published in English under that name.

I hope you will continue to create articles on films, making sure that they are neutral and encyclopedic. If you're interested in learning more about film articles and their standards on Wikipedia, I'd recommend reading Wikipedia:WikiProject Film.

Thanks, and if you have any questions, please feel free to stop by my talk page. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 12:05, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article The Champions (1983 film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability - or even existence. Unsourced. Not listed in IMDb.
