Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as Phi Psi Sigma, you will be blocked from editing. Before re-creating this article, please discuss, on this talk page or Talk:Phi Psi Sigma, how the organization is notable and what independent, reliable sources will verify that notability. —C.Fred (talk) 02:43, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Articles must be on notable subjects and verifiable. For notability, there are guidelines for organizations to determine if they are notable. As a general rule, local organizations - which a single-chapter fraternity effectively is - are not notable. For verifiability, the claim of notability must be supported by reliable sources. Additionally, a general rule of notability is that an organization which has received substantial media coverage is likely notable - e.g., multiple full articles about the subject. —C.Fred (talk) 02:48, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Phi psi sigma
[edit]A tag has been placed on Phi psi sigma requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

[edit]Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Phi psi sigma. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. justinfr (talk) 03:51, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
The file File:PHIPSISIGMA.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Uploaded for Phi Psi Sigma. No other use.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 10:54, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
