User talk:Just David
Hello. When you edit, please fill in the "edit summary" box with a short description or explanation of your edit. See Help:Edit summary. Also, when you put messages on talk pages, please use a number of colons at the beginning of your message to indent it (one more colon than the message you're replying to); see Wikipedia:Talk page#Formatting. Thanks. --Coppertwig 18:10, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
What? When I edit the talk page? I haven't edited the main page.
Just David 16:51, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- When you edit any page, either a main page or a talk page, I would appreciate it if you would give edit summaries. Note that I and all other users who have recently edited Talk:Circumcision have given edit summaries. Please read Help:Edit summary, which says, among other things, "Always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline."
- When you edit any talk page, including a user talk page such as this one and also including an article talk page such as Talk:Circumcision, please use colons to format your message as described at the link I give above. --Coppertwig 17:53, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
What letter?
[edit]You said "Put me firmly in the not citing it camp" [1] and "I was talking about the letter written by Jakew that is discussed above." [2]. Please tell me what letter you're talking about; that is, please give me a citation to the letter -- full author's name, date, name of scientific journal, title etc. or tell me exactly where to find it. I'd like to know what letter you're talking about. --Coppertwig 16:21, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
I don't understand? Is this not what the entire section is about? I'm talking about the same letter everyone else is.

- I already assumed you're talking about a letter that others are talking about. I would like to know what letter people are talking about. In particular, I would like to know what letter you are talking about, since more than one letter is mentioned in that section. Please tell me the citation to the letter you are talking about. --Coppertwig 17:23, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
re common statement
