Alternative accounts vs. sockpuppetry
[edit]I note that when you created this account, you also created two other accounts at the same time, User:RegularPoliticalNerd and User:JustARegularPoliticalNerd. You should be aware that Wikipedia is very strict in its policies about what is considered to be legitimate use of alternative accounts. Most of the time, the rule of thumb is "One person, one account", but the specific rules are spelled out in the policy page WP:Sockpuppetry, which you should read and understand thoroughly before you begin to use those other two accounts.
