License tagging for File:FremontEastDowntownLasVegas.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:FremontEastDowntownLasVegas.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 23:15, 3 October 2011 (UTC)
Tagging
[edit]For the copyright on the image see the section above this that was added by the bot. One of the things it links to is a list, you need to add the appropriate tag from the list. If you have questions, you can ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Images aren't my strength, I have added *one* image in all my time on wikipedia. :( Naraht (talk) 09:28, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 12
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Las Vegas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page State (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Junevivalasvegas. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
- instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Regards, James(talk/contribs) 23:38, 11 February 2016 (UTC)
I don't update on Wikipedia very often, so I am not sure of all the things I should be doing. For clarification: I work for the city of Las Vegas Economic and Urban Development Department and Redevelopment Agency, which I can confirm for you should you require it. The changes I made today either involved correcting punctuation or updating relevant information - such as the completion of a shopping outlet expansion - which has been publicly released and can be verified. Since my department works extensively with businesses and revitalization efforts happening in downtown Las Vegas, I am up-to-date on such information and can be an asset to this page. We try to maintain an impartial and balanced representation of companies or entities in our area without preference or compensation, which is not allowed as part of our city policies.

[edit]Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Symphony Park with this edit, without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 21:59, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
I am with the city agency that controls Symphony Park. I noted in my edits that I was trying to make the information up-to-date and accurate. It is extremely out-of-date with a number of inaccuracies. In fact, it was noted how out-of-date the information was at the top of the Wikipedia page.
