[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Iddarammayilatho, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Proposed deletion of Rakshak (2016 film)
[edit]The article Rakshak (2016 film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- WP:NFF and WP:NOTNOW - no indication from reliable sources that principal photography has started yet. Also, some of the listed sources appear to be non-reliable gossip-sites, which generally should not be used as sources in Wikipedia articles.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 18:04, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
Notability of future/not-yet-released films
[edit]Please read Wikipedia:Notability (films) and in particular the section titled Future films, incomplete films, and undistributed films before creating additional articles about unreleased films. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 18:14, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
Sources
[edit]Content of Wikipedia articles should generally be backed up with reliable sources. At least enough content must come from reliable, independent sources that another editor who looks only at the sources that are both reliable and independent of the source being covered would recognize that the topic the article is about meets Wikipedia's notability requirements. Topics that do not clearly meet Wikipedia's notability requirements may be proposed for deletion or nominated for deletion pending the outcome of a community discussion.
Some of the sources that you used in Rakshak (2016 film) were "gossip pages." Gossip pages are generally not considered reliable sources by Wikipedia standards.
If you would like to write articles about films and you aren't sure if they meet Wikipedia's notability criteria, you may consider writing a draft article then going to the talk page of WikiProject film and ask someone to review the draft before you move it into the main encyclopedia. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 18:22, 1 January 2016 (UTC)
