Welcome
[edit]Hello and welcome!
I noticed that you have been changing genres on some musical topics. I have an interest in this aspect of music myself.
On Wikipedia, genres must be WP:Verifiable which means we must cite a published source to allow the reader to verify the genre. Please take a look at published sources before you change the genre in the infobox. The infobox genres should be a summary of what the published sources are saying.
Another aspect of genres is this: In a song article, the song genre should come from published descriptions of the song, not from descriptions of the album or artist. Same with album and artists... The artist genre comes from published sources talking about the artist, not from descriptions of the various songs or albums.
Thanks for your interest in improving the world's knowledge! See you around... Binksternet (talk) 15:05, 19 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to A New World Record, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 19:43, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at ...And Then There Were Three..., you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 15:32, 26 August 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you change genres in pages without discussion or sources, as you did at Tug of War (Paul McCartney album). Sundayclose (talk) 16:18, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
