Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from AGV Sports Group. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. tedder (talk) 14:58, 22 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

April 2009

[edit]

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to AGV Sports Group, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. tedder (talk) 03:57, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On a personal note, if you want to discuss Wikipedia's policies on verifiability and reliable sources, please let me know. You can reply here or on my talk page. Cheers, tedder (talk) 03:58, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to AGV Sports Group, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in you being blocked from editing Wikipedia. tedder (talk) 04:03, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to AGV Sports Group, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. tedder (talk) 04:08, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removing maintenance tags- reasons, and please stop

[edit]

Your editsummary comment: "You are vandalizing this company's site and have been doing so for some time. These mythical requirements you demand do not exist for any other company, please check out AGV, Dainese, and Alpinestars"

Here's the deal. As WP:V says, "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth". In other words, sources need to be given. Comparing articles isn't generally the right principle to take- please read the essay called Wikipedia:Other stuff exists (and WP:OTHERSTUFF, for that matter). I've tried to remain civil; please stop reverting to remove the maintenance templates. Instead, discuss the issue with me (not through revert summaries!), on the talk page for the AGV Sports Group page, or take it to dispute resolution if you don't think those are good options.
In any case, the maintenance tags must remain. The AGV Sports Group article is poorly sourced and has come up for deletion in the past because of this. Your energies (and mine!) could be much better spent improving articles. tedder (talk) 04:40, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war warning

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on AGV Sports Group‎. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Note this likely applies to myself, too. tedder (talk) 04:43, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
