Welcome to Wikipedia!
[edit]Hi Juengcious, I'm Encoded and I've been assigned as your mentor. Welcome to Wikipedia!
About half of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor chosen randomly from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here.
Below, I've attached a whole host of information regarding how Wikipedia works. You don't have to read it all now, but I'd recommend remembering this message and coming back to it if you're unsure on anything. You can also send me any questions you may have, and I'll be happy to help! I highly recommend doing the tutorial before you start editing, it's incredibly useful in helping you get started.

The Task Center
Learn what Wikipedians do and discover how to help.
- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
If you need assistance with anything, have any questions, or just want to say hello please feel free to send me a message, I'm always happy to help :) Happy editing! Encoded Talk 💬 09:01, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
