Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. My apologies, but what did you consider an inappropriate external link?

This edit [1] and others like it. Fraslet 12:20, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you that was a bad link, however I don't recall 'others like it'. In ignorance I took that lead from another well know Island design company that's listd on Wikipedia.

I did however check my edits and don't see any links other than informative additions, I do note that a Hebridean Tour Guide has been taken out and I am a bit puzzled about that. Certainly if you consider others to be 'iffy' please let me know. Having watched Wiki, viewed, used and referenced it, I finally decided to contribute. I accept your advice and bow to your wisdom, I'm the new kid on the block so will tread carefully from now on as I would like to make a genuine contribution.--Judemacdonald 14:07, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Arachnoiditis do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Excirial (Contact me,Contribs) 21:50, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Judemacdonald. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Ui Church - St Columba's Chapel".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Ui Church - St Columba's Chapel}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 20:01, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
