Google Free Zone
It gives a very berfi information of what it is.
I can contribute by adding more information in general, on how it works, where it works, who controls it, etc.
The big weakness is that it hasn't a good amount of information.

WEEK 2
[edit]I have chosen the article Hacktivism https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hacktivism
The article talks about the act of hacking, it gives basic firstly explains what it is and what is it based on. It give a history entry, like when the term was first used. The two introductory paragraphs are acceptable but there could be a little more data added to it. Only in the two first paragraphs, you can see a lot of hyperlinks which is perfect because if you new in this type of fields, other Wikipedia articles can help you understand better the context. The overview section in more like an extension of the introduction but with more information. The article does a good job by giving the audience the basic information that they need to know to have an overall idea of this concept. Not only does the article talk about what the term hacktivism is but how the person “hackers” do for this term to happened. There are claims to attract more the audience. On the other hand, the article uses real events that happened in the past to show them to the audience as examples of hackers. The sources a mostly credible because is part of its sources are from research journals and books. It also has a lot of other references like an article from BBC, university of Minnesota press, and many other credible sources. It gives hyperlinks and citations of each of one of them. I do feel like everything is connected in the article and has normal structure. Introduction, a nice body where it talks about past and hacker. So far every link that I have tried worked. There is recent content from this year but there is also context From the past. The amount of detail is not great but there is a good amount, especially when it comes to specific hackers or hacker groups. It all has to do the with the activity of hacking. The article has a solid information on three big hacking organizations. Is gives a basic history of each and one of them, it explains what the focus on or what they do, The goal of an article like this is to inform the audience supposing that they don't know much about this topic. However, even if the essentials are there I would add more on why do people hack, how do they learn it, the policies of different countries of hacking, I also would add more chart and graphs to show data and facts about hackers like number of hacking activities and it's location. Adding a section of facts about hackers could be interesting. I feel like the article those a good job with citing so there is no plagiarism. I would add more information on the Anonymous section by adding more information like what is the objective of this group, is it to help or harm, what they usually hack, etc. Last thing I would add is what tools do hackers use, what basic knowledge do they need to know (skills like: programming, software experience, hardware knowledge…)
